Concealed Handgun Class Series Begins Tuesday March 25
Concealed Handgun License Class Presented by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Firearms Training Staff The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office will be presenting Concealed Handgun licensing classes on the following dates. There is no requirement to pre-register. Topics include Oregon concealed carry laws, laws governing use of force, handgun safety, firearms storage and concealed carry equipment.
LOCATION: “MAC” Training Room (second floor) Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office
CLASS DATES & TIMES: March 25, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. May 29, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. June 19, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. September 25, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. November 4, 2008 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
CLASS FEE: $25 per person.
DO NOT BRING any firearms or ammunition to this class. Course material will be provided and you may bring note-taking material.
This class is intended for those people already proficient or comfortable with handguns or those having other training resources available. This is not a “hands-on” weapons handling and shooting class.
