Residential & Commercial Recycling
Recyclable materials are picked up curbside from garbage customers within the urban growth boundaries of Bend and Redmond and in limited rural areas of the County. Call your local collector for detailed information about items collected. Convenient Recycling Depots are available throughout the county for collection customers in other areas and for residents who don’t receive garbage pick-up service.
| Multi-Family Recycling |
Recyclable materials are collected from apartment complexes and trailer parks inside the urban growth boundaries of Bend and Redmond. Contact your facility manager or local garbage company for more information.
| Yard Debris & Compost |
Residential yard waste such as leaves, grass, and tree trimmings are accepted at the Knott Landfill site and the Northwest, Southwest, and Negus Transfer Stations. There is a small fee to drop off this material. Yard debris must be free of dirt, sod, or rocks. Finished compost products are sold by Deschutes Recycling at Knott Landfill.
