Car Seat Safety Class
Learn the right way to use a car seat and keep your child safe while driving!
Studies show that nearly 80% of the time, there are problems with the way car seats are being used. Parents and caregivers can learn important information that helps them select and use car seats safely.
Deschutes County Health Department is offering classes in car seat safety for interested parents and caregivers. The classes are FREE and are usually held twice a month.
Classes in basic car seat safety are offered monthly in English and Spanish. For class times and enrollment, call 322-7400
You can bring in your own car seat for personal attention after the class.
Certificates of completion are available.
Low income families can purchase a reduced price car seat, depending on availability.
