Coordinated Population Forecast


Coordinated Population Forecast Project

On Wednesday September 8th the Deschutes County Commissioners adopted a coordinated population forecast for Deschutes County. The County coordinated with the cities of Bend, Redmond and Sisters to develop the population forecast through the year 2025. The forecast predicts a countywide population of 240,118 by 2025.

The population forecast is a tool for the cities and the county, state agencies and utilities to use in planning infrastructure. Bend, Redmond and Sisters will use the forecast to determine how much land will be needed for residential, commercial and industrial uses.
