VISITATION GUIDELINES
SOCIAL VISITING
1. All visiting is by appointment only.
2. All inmates must fill out a visiting list.
3. They are allowed five names on the list, this includes children.
4. To visit, you must be on the inmate’s visiting list and you must call between the hours of
9 a.m. and 11 a.m. the day prior to the day you wish to visit to make an appointment.
5. Our regular visiting days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Visiting
times are based upon where an inmate is housed in the facility. Inmates are authorized to have
one (1) twenty-five (25) minute visiting period per scheduled visitation day, and no more than
two (2) visitors may visit at one time. A child is counted the same as an adult.
6. If a visitor misses or is late for two scheduled visits within a 30 day period, they will be
removed from the inmate’s list for 30 days.
7. Scheduled visitors must present approved identification before each visit. The identification
must display a picture of the visitor, the visitor’s name, and the visitor’s date of birth.
(Exception: Children under the age of 16 who are accompanied by a parent or responsible
adult.)
8. No person under the age of 18 years will be allowed to visit unless accompanied by a parent or
responsible adult. The parent (or responsible adult) must also be an approved visitor.
Exceptions:
- This does not apply to a person under the age of 18 who is married to or is the biological child of the inmate he/she intends to visit. However, the visitor must bring along a marriage certificate or birth certificate verifying the relationship.
- Biological children under the age of 16 may visit an inmate parent if they are escorted by an approved visitor 18 years of age or older.
