Citizen InvolvementPublic RequestThe Road Department strives to maintain the County Road System to provide safe and adequate transportation routes. We need your help in doing so. If you become aware of a problem on a County Road please call 388-6581. We will route the information to the apropriate personnel and see that the problem is resolved as quickly as possible. Adopt-A-RoadWe need your help in patrolling litter along County Roads. The Adopt-A-Road Program provides you with training and traffic signs so you can safely keep your favorite stretch of road free of litter and looking sharp. Noxious Weed ProgramNoxious weeds are a real problem in Deschutes County, especially along roadways. You can help by pulling those pesky weeds from along the road. The Noxious Weeds Program will help you identify the weeds and provide you with the training and signs needed to pull the roadside weeds safely. The Noxious Weed Program can also help you remove the invasive plants from your personal property in the way of financial assistance. |
