Acute Care Program

ArtThe Acute Care Program can be reached at 322-7500.

Crisis Services

We have 24-hour crisis response by phone or face-to-face; this may include assessment, intervention planning, information and referral services. In addition, we provide brief crisis stabilization through individual or group treatment. Persons in crisis should contact the clinic by phone or walk in during regular working hours. The crisis phone line is available 24 hours a day at 1-800-435-2197. Or, in some cases, hospitalization may be necessary for the safety of the individual and others. In these cases, go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

Public Safety Services

The Acute Care Program performs investigations and consultations for individuals who are alleged to be mentally ill and a danger to themself or others. Investigators prepare cases for civil commitment hearings or assist in the placement of individuals in treatment. In addition, we contract with Deschutes County Community Justice Department to provide treatment at the corrections facility and for their parole and probation division.
