Groundwater Protection Project Final Report Available
Effective date of the Local Rule delayed until spring vote
Deschutes County, in order to protect drinking water supplies and river quality, has adopted a county code to require groundwater protection action. This code includes the use of new onsite wastewater treatment systems that provide increased protection, connection to sewer or other methods to protect groundwater quality.
